About Me
Shawn specialises in Media, Lighting and Sound Design and aspires to be in the Entertainment and Media Sector.
Shawn recently graduated from Republic Polytechnic (RP) with a Diploma in Sonic Arts. Prior to his endeavour in RP, Shawn pursued the Electrical Technology (Lighting & Sound) NITEC course in ITE. Through his pursuits of reaching his aspiration, Shawn learnt from the very basics - coiling cables, cleaning stages, gaffing and patching.
In 2017, Shawn was given the opportunity to complete a 20-week overseas internship for SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia. The experience in KL was rewarding, both personally and professionally.
In the last few years, Shawn has fostered deeper understanding of the performing arts scene through various platforms and opportunities.
In 2020, Shawn and his final year project team successfully put on a show, even through the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In his free time, Shawn enjoys a good cup of coffee and finds the best spots for delicious food. In addition, as an avid photographer, Shawn takes on projects as a freelance photographer, designing, videographer and video editing.
